and 9 pounds! Wow, it's crazy to have a baby who grows so fast. I'm not used to that at all! I weighed him last Tuesday or Wednesday and he's already up a pound(10) by today.

The fussiness is a lot less. Instead of being glad if I can get the dishes washed every couple of days, I can usually get them done in the morning. There's still a lot of crying, but it feels much more bearable. Today I was washed with the "special moment" feeling, something that has been all too hard to find some of the past days.

Oh, my, I want to write and write, but I am beyond tired and I know I'll regret staying up late if I do. Hopefully soon I can catch up. I can hardly stand I haven't recorded a single one of Ian's milestones (black mark for me on the Good Mom/Bad Mom list) and I know I've already forgotten so many of the cute things Zachary said the first week or two...

Just one quote I hear almost every day, "Momma, Did you know God loves you? And I do, too!"

Hey, you been partying in the middle of the night too? :wave: I am not complaining though. Gilead is transitioning to sleeping for a 5 hour stretch every night. It's just pretty nice. :yes:

Oh my! I can feel for you- I remember all too well the days/weeks/months my baby was fussy and nothing beyond the absolute necessities got done. I'm sure I forget some of the pain, though. Praying things continue to get better and more bearable for you. Have a great day!

aahh~ he is so precious! rest well, when you can, and know that before you know it you will have lots of time to write...these days of infants are ever so fleeting!

He looks just squooshable!!! His face looks so different all chubby like that! Can't wait to catch up w/ you...maybe today sometime.

Aww! He's gotten so chubby! I think he looks more like Zachary like that.

We finally have another baby around as of @ 5 this morning ;)

Ah Christy.. I just wanted to tell you, I so enjoyed taking care of Ian last night, and reading books to Zachary.. he makes me laugh with his enthusiasm. Ian was so much fun to cuddle ( he doesn't talk back ), although he does look a little different in the pictures you posted today. It was so nice to see you refreshed and ready to chat after your nap. We must do this again sometime soon. Agree? I wish it wouldn't have been just a dream. :wha::sunny:

I can hardly believe Ian is already 4 weeks old! Time flies, esp. when you aren't the one up all night! Good luck with your boys...they are so precious.
